What is a Roblox Script?

A Roblox script is a piece of code that can be used to help enhance your game. Scripts are written in Lua, which gives them access to all kinds of powerful functions and data structures. There are many types of scripts with different uses: from creating NPCs or adding sounds effects

in the background , there’s no limit on what you can do!

How Does it Work?

What will this Tutorial Cover? This tutorial covers how to make a simple website where users without programming experience (or developers) can upload their own scripts for others to download. It also explains some basic concepts about using Roblox Studio such as inheritance and event listeners . For those who want more information, we’ll go into more detail in the blog post.

Requirements for Script Hub:

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is required in order to follow this tutorial. Some experience with Javascript would be helpful but not necessary for understanding what’s going on behind-the-scenes!

What Will You Make?

We’ll make a simple website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that allows users to upload their own Roblox scripts which can then be downloaded by other users on the site. Users will need to register an account before uploading files (this is just more secure). We’re also going to include jQuery and some random JS libraries we find online so our web app isn’t too boring! Additionally we’ll add some basic functionality such as password protection and file deletion if needed later on.

What Do You Need?

You’ll need a text editor (such as Atom or Notepad++) and preferably an FTP program to upload the final project onto your server . It would also be helpful if you had Roblox Studio installed on your computer but it’s not necessary! We’re using Windows for this tutorial, so some things might look different in another OS (but most of what we do is done through the command line).

1.2: I want to use a UI Library instead of making my own UI

  • If you like to spice things up a bit I’d recommend using a UI Library if you’re lazy to make a GUI yourself, here’s a github where you can find a lot of UI Libraries: https://github.com/bloodball/UI-Librarys

How do I make an executor with an already made API?
